FSB officers detained Alexey Cheburakov, former deputy head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Krasnodar Krai. His home was searched.
According to the source, the events are related to a criminal case involving the large-scale production of counterfeit cigarettes. Back in 2025, five underground factories in Kuban were discovered manufacturing counterfeit cigarettes.
It was also established that a large group of security officials was involved in this business. As a result, several FSB officers from the Krasnodar Territory Directorate for Economic Security and Combating Corruption, including Cheburakov, the head of the Main Directorate for Economic Security and Combating Corruption of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Krasnodar Territory, Zalutsky, and his deputy, Zabrovsky, were dismissed.
After their dismissal, Cheburakov was hired by InCity Group. Zalutsky and Zabrovsky also found jobs there.
